Quickstarts

Quickstarting employs problem-solving leadership. Knowledge transfer happens primarily through demonstration of the problem-solving process.

Unlike mentoring, quickstarting involves temporarily taking ownership of a problem. It can be used to progress solutions rapidly, allowing people within the organization to take the solution on when some momentum has been achieved. Quickstarts can also be used to get past a “blocked” mind-set by building confidence that seemingly difficult problems can be solved.
